Getting Started

1. Accessing the Extension

After installation, you'll see the CoinsWorth icon in your browser toolbar. Click it to open the side panel.

First Time Setup

CoinsWorth automatically creates a secure account for you with no registration required. Your analysis history is encrypted and synced to our secure servers for seamless access across devices.

Daily Usage Limits

Free users receive daily coin analyses to experience our professional-grade system. Usage limits are clearly displayed in your side panel. Upgrade to Premium for unlimited professional analysis.

Analysis Features

Automatic Coin Detection

The extension uses advanced AI to:

• Detect coin images on the page
• Crop and process both obverse and reverse sides
• Combine images for analysis
• Extract coin details from the page title

Grade Analysis

Our advanced AI system analyzes:

• Most probable grade based on extensive training data
• Upgrade potential - statistical likelihood of higher grading
• Downgrade risk assessment - probability of lower grading
• Grade consistency - likelihood of maintaining current grade

Price Analysis

Compare current pricing with market data:

• Fair value estimate based on recent sales
• Deal assessment - Good Deal, Fair Price, Overpriced, etc.
• Risk warnings for potentially problematic listings

Visual Display

The side panel shows:

• Cropped coin images (obverse and reverse)
• Coin title extracted from the page
• Grade outlook with probability percentages
• Price analysis with detailed breakdown

Understanding Your Results

Grade Outlook Icons

• 🔺 Upgrade Potential - High chance of grading higher
• 🔻 Downgrade Risk - Risk of grading lower
• ◼️ Same Grade - Likely to receive current grade
• ? Analysis Uncertain - Results are inconclusive

Price Analysis Icons

• ✅ Good Deal - Priced below fair value
• ✔️ Fair Price - Reasonable market pricing
• ❗ Overpriced - Above typical market value
• 🚨 High Risk - Significant pricing concerns
• ⚡ Grade Risk - Price may change with grade adjustment

Grade Distribution Chart

The chart shows probability distribution across different grades:

• Green bars - Grades higher than current
• Gray bars - Current grade
• Red bars - Grades lower than current

Subscription & Limits

Free Tier

All users start with free daily analyses. The limit resets every 24 hours at midnight in your local timezone.

Premium Subscription

Subscribe for:

• Unlimited coin analyses
• Priority processing
• Advanced features as they're released
• Email support

Managing Your Account

Click the user icon in the side panel to:

• View your subscription status
• See daily usage count
• Manage billing (for subscribers)
• Access account settings

Troubleshooting

Extension Not Working

1. Ensure you're on a supported website (HA.com or GreatCollections.com)
2. Navigate to an individual coin page, not search results
3. Click the extension icon to open the side panel
4. Refresh the page if the analysis doesn't start automatically

Analysis Failed

If you see "Analysis failed" messages:

• Check your internet connection
• Ensure the page has clear coin images
• Try refreshing the page
• Some coins with unusual formats may not be supported

Images Not Displaying

If cropped coin images don't appear:

• The page may have non-standard image formats
• Images might be loading slowly - wait a few seconds
• Try refreshing the page to restart analysis

Daily Limit Reached

When you hit your daily limit:

• Wait until midnight for the limit to reset
• Consider subscribing for unlimited access
• The exact reset time is shown in the side panel
